Well we've been scheming this for a while now and it's time to start spreading the word - we're going to be recording our new album in a music shop. Nevada Music, one of the south's largest music stores, have agreed to give us the keys for six months while we record our latest offering on the shop floor. We've no idea how this is going to pan out as it's uncharted territory for us (and the shop!) so we'll just have to see how it goes.
We will be videoing our exploits and putting them up on the 'Made In Nevada' blog which you can find here:

It's up and running, but we've yet to actually go in and record some video of day one! We did a performance in the shop on Saturday to mark Nevada Music's 40th anniversary which was fun, but the real stuff has yet to come. We're not used to being on camera really and we've little how idea how we're going to film it - we're just going to wing it.
All the guys in the shop play an instrument of some kind, and most of them are in local bands so hopefully we'll get some of them playing on our songs. We're also hoping that as the story travels we might get some other locals lending a hand. Who knows.
It's all quite exciting. And terrifying. But it just goes to show, you don't know till you ask. This literally was a one email deal - we sent the email off to Nevada Music with our hair-brained scheme and to our shock and amazement they said yes. So at the very least we have proved that you probably don't have to look as far afield as you think to get support with what you're doing, and no matter how crazy the idea it's always worth a try.
We hope to have some content up by the end of the month. God help us. In the meantime here's a nice picture of some amplifiers that hopefully all go up to 11.
